Hi everyone. For those who don't know me, I was the editor-in-chief at Cointelegraph and Blockworks, and I'm a big fan of Koinos. Over the last few days I've been working on an essay entitled 'Why Koinos'. This is a long read. I felt that in order to explain what the value proposition of the Koinos blockchain really is, I would need to cover what crypto / blockchain is supposed to do, why it doesn't really do it (so far) and how Koinos can change it to bring Web3 to Everyone. Over the next week I'll be taking the messaging from this article and creating marketing materials that anyone can use to support and explain why Koinos is a valuable addition to the Web3 industry. I couldn't have done this without the Koinos Group, and especially Andrew in his new role as Chief Communications Officer. He was extremely helpful in helping to edit, and contribute some vital thoughts to this essay. Although it's long, I would encourage you to read it if you really want to get under the skin of the messaging. "No gas fees" is a great message, but why is it really important if Solana can offer transactions at a fraction of a cent? That's what I try to drill into here.
